The Evolis Primacy uses cutting edge card printing technology and a new inspired design to create a powerful and easy to use plastic card printer.  The Primacy prints at a blazing fast 210 cards per hour while maintaining a whisper quiet 48 decibels.  

The Evolis Primacy offers a wide range of encoding solutions that can be purchased with the printer or easily upgraded when you need them.  It is also field upgradable to dual-sided printing with a simple activation key, no additional hardware or installation is required.

Evolis Primacy Encoding Options

Magnetic ISO

Magnetic encoding is the most widely used and standardized encoding option on the market today. The Primacy can be purchased with a pre-installed magnetic encoder allowing for both HiCo and LoCo magnetic encoding to be written and read on any ISO standard equipment. 

Smart Encoder

Smart encoding or 'contact' encoding is where a small chip on the smart card makes physical contact with the encoder. The Primacy has an available GEMPC USB-TR smart card encoder. Confused? Contact us with questions. 

Contactless Encoder

Using contactless smart card encoding, the card/printer/reader does not have to make physical contact to read or encoder - hence 'Contactless'. The Primacy card printer has an available SpringCard Crazy Writer HSP Contactless Encoder.

Smart & Contactless
